Job Description

David Weekley Homes is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to join our Accounting and Finance Team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends and prepare reports for management.
  • Communicate clearly with multiple levels of leadership and help translate complex financial results with clear outcomes and calls-to-action.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards and reports.
  • Research peer and related industry metrics for benchmark analysis.
  • Help craft presentations for the board of directors, credit rating agencies, potential investors, and recommendations to the Management Team.
  • Support due diligence activities and assist in the financial evaluation of potential M&A opportunities.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial planning applications and reporting

Qualifications

Prerequisites:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master's degree in a related field is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Powerpoint and Excel (experience with BI tools such as Power BI a plus)
  • 2-5 years of prior experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis, investment banking, accounting or consulting role
Skills and Characteristics:
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly convey complex financial information to stakeholders with varying levels of financial acumen
  • Strong financial modeling skills. Ability to build and interpret financial models in Excel
  • Maintain high quality and accurate analysis while operating under tight deadlines
  • Positive attitude with a commitment to superior customer service
  • Confidence to collaborate across all levels of management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a variety of personalities
  • Highly analytical
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
