Company Description Job Description David Weekley Homes is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to join our Accounting and Finance Team.
Primary Responsibilities: - Analyze financial data, identify trends and prepare reports for management.
- Communicate clearly with multiple levels of leadership and help translate complex financial results with clear outcomes and calls-to-action.
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards and reports.
- Research peer and related industry metrics for benchmark analysis.
- Help craft presentations for the board of directors, credit rating agencies, potential investors, and recommendations to the Management Team.
- Support due diligence activities and assist in the financial evaluation of potential M&A opportunities.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial planning applications and reporting
Qualifications Prerequisites: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Master's degree in a related field is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Powerpoint and Excel (experience with BI tools such as Power BI a plus)
- 2-5 years of prior experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis, investment banking, accounting or consulting role
Skills and Characteristics: - Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly convey complex financial information to stakeholders with varying levels of financial acumen
- Strong financial modeling skills. Ability to build and interpret financial models in Excel
- Maintain high quality and accurate analysis while operating under tight deadlines
- Positive attitude with a commitment to superior customer service
- Confidence to collaborate across all levels of management
- Strong interpersonal skills with a variety of personalities
- Highly analytical
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently

Additional Information Work Location This position is based at our Houston Headquarters located in West Houston, near the intersection I-10 Katy Freeway and 610 W Loop N Fwy.
