ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As the Senior Performance Analysis Lead for General Dynamics and the Missile Defense National Team, you’ll lead a cross functional team of analysts to develop, benchmark, and utilize medium-level fidelity physics-based simulations to conduct analysis and develop requirements for integrated multi-phenomenology sensors, battle management command control & communications, and weapon systems for the Missile Defense Agency. Additionally, you will guide analysis and tool development planning, guide requirements product development, and represent the team to internal and external stakeholders in reviews and technical interchanges. As the Analysis Lead, it is vital to ensure technical quality of performance requirements and analysis products using team Subject Matter Experts. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Technical team leadership, missile defense and sensor domain expertise, simulation and/or performance requirements analysis and assessment using MATLAB, Python, or other engineering software Desired Skills: Strong technical background in using numerical modeling and simulation (M&S) using a high-level programming language such as MATLAB, Python, or similar language environment to develop system performance requirements. Experience with building and/or analyzing M&S for integrated missile defense systems including subsystems such as EO/IR sensors, RF/Radar sensors, kill vehicles, missiles/interceptors, threats & countermeasures, target discrimination, or command and control. Ability to think critically to develop and capture concepts in technical papers, presentations, and discussions.
