Position Overview KPMG is seeking a Senior Specialist, MAST Application Penetration Tester to join our Managed Services practice. Responsibilities Conduct manual application penetration testing on APIs (REST/SOAP), Web, Mobile, and thick client applications. Perform testing based on specific engagement objectives. Execute threat modeling, evaluate application logic, and review architecture. Demonstrate testing processes through real-time demos to internal and external audiences. Work independently with minimal oversight on penetration testing engagements. Uphold integrity, professionalism, and respect in the workplace. Qualifications At least three years of recent experience in application penetration testing of APIs, web, or mobile applications. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience. Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, including leading remediation discussions. Experience with tools such as Burp Suite Pro, Netsparker, and Checkmarx. Preferred certifications include GWAPT, CREST, OSWE, OSWA; not mandatory. Willingness and ability to travel as needed. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
