Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Food & Beverage team at Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, just outside of Charleston, SC.

Position Overview

The Server Assistant / Busser supports the restaurant service team by ensuring tables are clean, properly set, and ready for guests. This role works closely with servers to provide seamless service, maintain cleanliness throughout the dining area, and enhance the overall guest experience. The Server Assistant / Busser helps create a welcoming, polished, and efficient environment in keeping with Wild Dunes Resort's standards of hospitality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables quickly and efficiently.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, service stations, and surrounding areas.

• Refill water glasses and assist with bread, beverages, and other guest needs as directed.

• Support servers in delivering food and condiments when needed.

• Restock supplies (silverware, glassware, linens, etc.) to ensure readiness for service.

• Communicate effectively with team members to provide smooth, timely service.

• Assist with floor setup and breakdown before and after service.

• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

• Provide a friendly and professional presence in the dining room, contributing to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.

• Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment

• Restaurant dining room and back-of-house support areas.

• Fast-paced environment requiring teamwork and attention to detail.

• Requires a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
