Summary

Join Award-winning Chef Roberto Alcocer at Valle, a Guadalupe Valley Kitchen as he draws on the traditions of Mexico’s renowned wine region and the bounty of local farms and sea food, to create Valle’s bold cuisine paired with a selection of Mexican wine, best enjoyed on the seaside dining veranda in the Dining Room which boasts beautiful ocean views. Guest can enjoy an intimate dining experience with a Chef's tasting menu or a la carte, or if is the case of a special celebratory evening up to eight in our private dining room.

This is an hourly position with a starting compensation of $17.85.

Qualifications

This position is responsible for presenting food and beverage options and submitting guest menu selections.  The right person will gain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings.  A Valle restaurant server will engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by their style and service attributes.  Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Michelin star restaurant.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet high performance expectations. 
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be available PM shifts. Restaurant is open Tuesday - Saturday, 5pm-9pm.
