We're on the hunt for a vibrant social media video creator with a talent for storytelling through a camera lens and the power of editing. Job Summary: You'll be on camera and behind the lens, crafting fun and engaging content for social media platforms. You'll work from our NYC office and build out a small studio in which to create your content. This role focuses on creating performance oriented photo & video content that resonates with audiences and drives results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities: - Content Creation: Lead the development of exciting content across various social platforms with a strong focus on User-Generated Content (UGC) and captivating short-form content, particularly for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
- Photography, Videography, & Editing: Use your photography skills to capture visuals and your basic video editing prowess to produce polished and engaging content. Your ability to tell a story through visuals is crucial.
- Client Management: Communicate with clients and talent to manage project execution. Excellent communication skills are necessary to foster strong relationships and promote ongoing collaboration.
- Influencer & Talent Operations: Manage and execute influencer campaigns for ad creation as well as non-influencer casting. This includes negotiating deals, overseeing content production, and ensuring deliverables meet our high standards.
- Studio Management: Help build and manage a mini studio in our NYC office space to facilitate efficient content production.
Skills & Qualifications: - Strong portfolio showcasing your work for social platforms. Particularly, UGC/influencer style video content.
- Experience in photography and videography, using a phone and DSLRs (Canon, Sony, Nikon).
- Working knowledge of Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator are a plus.
- Experience in managing influencer sourcing through major influencer platforms such as Insense or Grin.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee UGC production from sourcing to final output.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Photography, Video Production, or a related field.
