About the Position:

Are you passionate about bringing history and social studies to life for young students? Soliant Education is looking for a dedicated 5th Grade Social Studies Teacher for a full-time, year-long contract role in Lake Wales, FL. If you have a knack for making social studies engaging and relevant, wed love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver captivating social studies lessons that align with state standards.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress, offering targeted feedback and support.
• Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that fosters an appreciation for history and social sciences.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to enhance student learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education, Social Studies, History, or a related field.
• Valid Florida teaching certification for elementary education.
• Strong understanding of 5th-grade social studies curriculum and instructional techniques.
• Excellent munication and organizational skills.
• Ability to build a dynamic and supportive classroom environment.
