KBR is seeking a Social Worker to provide essential support services to military personnel, veterans and their families. This role involves delivering counseling, crisis intervention, case management and resource coordination to help service members navigate personal and professional challenges. Responsibilities include participating in Utilization Management/Case Management meetings to review and improve treatment, providing monthly in-service training for clinical and administrative staff on social work and case management services, coordinating admission, discharge, and transitions to higher levels of care, acting as a focal point for community, patient and agency referrals, interfacing with Military Treatment Facility RN Case Managers to develop and implement the Case Management Program, developing local strategies combining nursing and social work disciplines, and assisting in educational program development. The social work case manager may also provide services identified under Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Required education includes a Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited school, with 1-2 years of case management or clinical experience. Certification as a Certified Advanced Social Work Case Manager is recommended but not required. The candidate must actively work to obtain a full, unrestricted Licensed Clinical Social Worker license within one year of hire.
