BAE Systems is looking for a dynamic Software Developer to support our government customer onsite. This role will be working with a high paced team and will be responsible for the following:Develop block diagrams and logic flow charts for digital collection systems.
- Help translate detailed ELSUR collection system design into computer software.
- Support the testing, debugging, and refining of computer software to produce the required product for digital collection systems.
- For the collection systems, help prepare both program-level and user-level documentation, with Government collaboration/direction.
- Help enhances ELSUR collection software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
- Experience with .NET and Rest Services is required.
- Experience with SQL and/or No SQL databases i.e. Mongo
- Requires Linux experience, Scripting languages such as perl, bash
- Must have 4-7 or more years of technical experience as an applications programmer on computer and database management systems with at least 1-2 or more years specifically supporting law enforcement digital collection systems.
- Requires high degree of competence in analyzing functional business applications, design specifications for functional ELSUR activities, translating ELSUR and legal requirements to develop new or update existing software.
- Possess knowledge of computer equipment and the ability to develop complex software to satisfy the legal, functional, operational, and security needs of ELSUR digital collection systems.
- Requires competence in designing user interfaces, back end develop, and databases to support ELSUR collection systems.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
- Bachelor s degree in software engineering or related field.
- Familiarity with Nagios a plus.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $86235 - $146638
