As a Senior SRE Engineer, you will have a crucial role on our San Jose team, maintaining and developing core services essential for compute on the platform. What you'll Do Manage and improve our core compute and query service with a focus on scalability and reliability. Plan, design, develop, and test software systems or applications for software improvements and new products, including cloud-based or internet-related tools. Complete SRE and DevOps tasks to ensure the flawless operation and maintenance of our systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine and successfully implement standard methodologies in software engineering. Manage industry-known technologies like Spark, Kubernetes, Terraform, Mongo, Databricks, Snowflake, Elastic Search together with brand-new tech to compete at the highest level of market complexity and scale. What you need to succeed Proven experience with SRE/DevOps practices (minimum 5 years). Good coding skills; Java is a plus. Experience with Unix/Linux system administration and programming. Experience with Kubernetes and Spark is a plus. Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
