About the Role:
Join VASTA as a Strength Coach and empower athletes to reach their peak performance! In this dynamic role, you will design and implement tailored strength training programs that foster growth, resilience, and athletic excellence.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized strength training programs for athletes of all levels.
Conduct assessments to evaluate athletes' current strength and conditioning levels.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure proper technique and form.
Monitor and track athletes' progress to adjust training plans as needed.
Lead group training sessions and workshops focused on strength and conditioning.
Collaborate with other coaches and staff to promote a holistic approach to athlete development.
Stay updated on the latest strength training methodologies and industry trends.
Foster a positive and motivating training environment for all athletes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or equivalent certification.
Proven experience in strength training and conditioning coaching.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with athletes.
Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their goals.
Knowledge of injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques.
Passion for fitness and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in program design.
