As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with our Finance team to support financial planning and analysis projects.
In this role, you will: - Assist the department in reviewing and analyzing both current and historical financial data and performance metrics.
- Support the preparation of management reports by summarizing results for the period.
- Gather data from various sources and contribute to the creation of performance reports.
- Gain exposure by participating in the forecasting process.
- Assist in developing presentations for executive leadership.
- May perform other duties as required by business needs.
Qualifications we are looking for: - Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
Skills you will need: - Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial modeling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software is a plus.
- Experience working with Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, and other key excel functions is preferred.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work with complex data sets.
- High energy with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willing to face complex issues head on and work through challenges to build a stronger organization.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to interact comfortably art all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service mentality.
What you can expect as an Intern: - This position operates in both an office and industrial environment.
- Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require some standing and walking at times.
- Flexible hours. Must be available to work an average of 20 hours per week.
