Job Title : Summer IT Intern – Build & Repair Shop
Location : Bowie, MD
Job Type : Full-Time, Temporary (Summer Internship)
Rate : $17/hour

PEAKE Technology Partners is a leading Managed Services Provider supporting healthcare organizations with exceptional IT solutions and services. Our Build & Repair Shop plays a critical role in preparing client systems for deployment, and we’re looking for two summer interns to join the team and gain hands-on experience in a real-world IT environment.

Position Summary:

We’re seeking two motivated Summer Interns to assist our Build & Repair team with imaging and configuring several hundred Windows-based laptops and desktops for deployment. This is an ideal opportunity for college students or recent high school graduates interested in launching a career in information technology.

What You'll Do:

• Image and configure Windows laptops and desktop computers using
• standardized tools
• Set up hardware components, including monitors, peripherals, and
• basic cable management
• Apply client-specific configurations and perform quality assurance
• checks
• Troubleshoot minor hardware and software issues under supervision
• Assist with inventory management, asset tagging, and documentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Support the broader IT team as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Interest in technology, IT, or computer hardware
• Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions precisely
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to ~30 lbs
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
• Available to work full-time (Monday to Friday) throughout the summer

Preferred But Not Required:

• Experience with imaging or deploying computers
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an IT, Computer Science, or related program
