Job Type Internship Description Summer Social Media Intern (Student - Paid Internship) Location: Portage, Indiana (on-site only) Schedule: June 5 - August 22, approx. 30 hours per week Compensation: Hourly, based on experience About Us: BNutty is a women-owned, award-winning gourmet peanut butter company known for crafting indulgent, giftable treats with a mission to give back. We're based out of our 50,000 sq. ft. facility affectionately known as The Nuthouse-where fun meets function, and creativity is always on the menu. We're looking for a driven, creative, and highly communicative student to join our team this summer as a Social Media Intern. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in content creation, marketing strategy, and brand storytelling in a supportive and fast-paced environment. What You'll Be Doing: You'll be helping us grow and engage our community through social media, while learning the ins and outs of how a gourmet food brand builds its voice online. Daily & Weekly Tasks: Brainstorm and pitch creative content ideas (Reels, TikToks, Stories, static posts) Assist with filming and photographing behind-the-scenes content at The Nuthouse Help style and shoot products for Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest Write engaging captions and help manage our posting schedule Monitor comments, reply to messages, and engage with our online community Track trending audio, food influencers, and social media challenges Assist with organizing and maintaining our digital content library Bonus Projects (Based on Your Interests & Strengths): Interview BNutty team members for behind-the-scenes features Create a "day in the life" series from your perspective as an intern Develop a summer campaign or mini social series What You'll Walk Away With: A Certificate of Completion to recognize your work and commitment A professional portfolio with real-world social media content you helped create A letter of recommendation upon successful completion Valuable career experience and skills you can use in future roles or college applications Why Intern with BNutty? Build real-world experience in content creation and digital marketing Gain mentorship from industry professionals and a reference for future opportunities Work in a fun, creative, peanut butter-loving environment Leave with a portfolio, confidence, and a clearer sense of career possibilities in digital marketing and entrepreneurship Requirements Who You Are: A high school or college student (ages 16+) with a strong interest in social media and marketing A confident communicator-both in writing and speaking Reliable, organized, and self-motivated A creative thinker with an eye for visual storytelling Comfortable taking direction and sharing new ideas Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms Comfortable with taking and editing photos and videos on a smartphone Bonus if you have experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar tools (we'll train you if not!) Schedule & Requirements: Internship runs June 5 - August 22, approx. 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday On-site only at our Portage, Indiana headquarters (no remote work) Must have strong communication skills and be comfortable working with a team Must have reliable transportation and be legally eligible to work in the U.S. Must commit to the full internship term BNutty LLC
