Emeritus Vineyards is growing and looking for a new member of our Hospitality Team! Emeritus is a small family-run business; we take pride in producing world-class Pinot Noir with a personal connection to all our customers.

We're seeking a Tasting Room Associate to join our team! We’re looking for a dynamic individual with a commitment to hospitality, customer service, and Pinot Noir! Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can fill a part-time position that can fluctuate between three days a week (Sundays, Mondays, and one other day per applicant's availability) and flexibility to potentially work additional days to assist with events and/or cover team as needed.

Our tasting room is built around a personal and private tasting experience through in-depth tours and conversations with our team. If you can consistently facilitate sales, new wine club memberships and develop long-term customer relationships please apply!

Duties:
•  Provide an outstanding experience to Emeritus Vineyards’ guests with your expertise in all things Emeritus.
•  Provide outstanding customer service to all Emeritus guests and customers.
•  Conduct in-depth tours and tastings covering the history of Emeritus, farming practices, and our winemaking process.
•  Actively promote the wine sales in the tasting room and drive new memberships to the Emeritus wine club through your knowledge of Emeritus.
•  Be comfortable asking for the sale.
•  Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of Emeritus Vineyards and our wines.
•  Assist with counting inventory, as well as opening and closing duties for the Tasting Room.
•  Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
•  Passion for wine and the wine industry – especially Pinot Noir!
•  Computer literacy
•  Self-starter, clear communicator, positive team player, and multi-tasker
•  Must be highly motivated, independent yet able to take direction
•  Keen attention to detail
•  Effective salesperson
•  Positive and flexible attitude
•  Sense of humor
•  1-3 years of retail sales, food and beverage service, and/or hospitality experience
•  Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs, stand for long periods, be able to walk through a vineyard (on uneven ground), and at least 21 years old
•  Deep commitment to customer service and ability to effectively represent the quality of Emeritus wines

This position will be 3 scheduled days/week, including weekends & holidays.
