WeCare Medical Specialty Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Telecom Coordinator to manage and support our telecommunications systems and services. This role will be responsible for ensuring reliable and efficient communication across the organization, including phone systems, video conferencing, and other communication platforms. This is a remote position offering the flexibility to work from home while playing a vital role in supporting our healthcare mission.
Responsibilities:
Telecom System Administration: Manage and maintain the organization's phone systems (VoIP, PBX, etc.), video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Webex), and other communication tools.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support to end-users for telecom-related issues, including troubleshooting phone problems, resolving video conferencing issues, and assisting with other communication platforms.
Vendor Management: Liaise with telecom vendors to manage contracts, services, and billing.
System Configuration and Upgrades: Configure and update telecom systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of telecom systems, configurations, and procedures.
Inventory Management: Track and manage telecom equipment and inventory.
Cost Optimization: Monitor telecom usage and identify opportunities to optimize costs.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on how to use telecom systems and tools effectively.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT, operations, and other departments to ensure seamless communication across the organization.
Staying Up-to-Date: Keep up-to-date with the latest telecom technologies and trends.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in telecom coordination, administration, or a related role.
Strong understanding of telecommunications systems, including VoIP, PBX, and video conferencing.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Proficiency in using various communication and collaboration tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be located in the United States or be a U.S. permit resident.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the healthcare industry or with HIPAA compliance.
Experience with specific telecom platforms (e.g., Cisco, Avaya, RingCentral).
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA).
