TEMP MAIL ASSOCIATE AT TOP NYC HEALTHCARE FIRM

Pay Rate is $21.27 to $24.27 per hour | Working Onsite Five (5) Days per Week

Three (3) Month Temporary Assignment | MUST be COVID & Flu Vaccinated

Top NYC Healthcare Firm is looking for an experienced mailroom/receiving professional to join its organization as a Mail Associate for a Three (3) Month Temporary Assignment.

Incredible organization where you feel as though you are "giving back”. Working on-site in the upper 60's on Manhattan's Upper East Side. MUST be Fully COVID and Flu Vaccinated. Full-time (37.5-hrs Weekly); Mon-Fri (7.5-hrs Daily); 9am-5pm (ET).

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

High School Diploma or GED required.

Mailroom/Receiving Experience required.

Minimum of One (1) Year of Relevant Experience required.

Proven Attention to Detail required.

MUST Be Customer Focused.

Courier Experience a plus.

Phenomenal Customer Service, Dedicated, Motivated, and Hard-working.

Knowledge of Basic Internet Navigation and E-mail.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Supervise the flow of delivery trucks by helping to assign loading bays to deliveries and presenting corresponding directions to truck drivers.

Provide appropriate equipment for unloading of parcels (e.g., pallets, flatbed trucks, etc.).

Prioritize urgent incoming parcels and mail for internal deliveries according to delivery type, (e.g., overnight deliveries, messenger service, perishables, etc.), by placing parcels in designated areas for immediate delivery.

Complete delivery information on the parcel label (i.e., employee name and location, if the information on the label is incomplete).

Deliver merchandise/equipment to requisitioner and requests signature for merchandise delivered.

Provide requisitioner with a copy of the packing slip for your record.

Provide support and coverage for absent, vacationing, or unavailable staff, as needed.

Duties may include stocking items and delivering film/digitized files.
