Temporary Accounting Clerk

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00a-2:30p

Pay: $20-21 per hour

Location: 15 miles outside of Manitowoc

Length: temporary (about 10 months)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Office Admin with a strong background in accounting for a temporary position, located approximately 15 miles from Manitowoc. This role will support daily office operations while assisting with key accounting functions, specifically Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with AR/AP processing, including invoice entry, payment posting, and vendor/customer communication
• Support general accounting tasks as assigned
• Perform daily office duties to ensure smooth operations
• Answer and route incoming phone calls during designated portions of each shift
• Maintain organized records and documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely workflow
• Provide administrative support such as filing, data entry, and correspondence

• Prior office administration experience required
• Hands-on accounting experience, specifically in AR/AP
• Experience working with ERP cloud-based systems; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
