Job DescriptionTest QA SpecialistPosition OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Test QA Specialist to join our team, focusing on ensuring the quality and performance of our products within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in testing and quality assurance to enhance our processes and ensure compliance in a regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute test plans and test cases for various pharmaceutical and biotech applications.Collaborate with software engineers to identify and resolve defects in applications and embedded firmware.Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards.Engage with stakeholders, including sales engineering teams and underwriters, to understand requirements and validate testing outcomes.Review and analyze quotes for compliance with industry regulations and standards.Assist in the development of quality assurance best practices and testing standards.Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to provide updates on testing status and findings.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Testing, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.Familiarity with VoIP, telephony, and networking technologies, particularly Cisco and TCP/IP.Experience with embedded systems and firmware testing.Strong understanding of software engineering principles and methodologies.Valid Wisconsin Fire and Casualty License is a plus.Proven ability to acquire and retain clients, with experience in account management in commercial lines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successful client meetings.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
