Job Title: Data Acquisition & Measurement Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Data Acquisition & Measurement Engineer to support Features, Verification & Validation (FVV) testing activities. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting DAQ systems, sensor instrumentation, and ensuring data capture accuracy during vehicle testing. You will work closely with internal engineering teams and support project planning, documentation, and the implementation of new testing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, develop, and troubleshoot data acquisition systems (DAQ) and sensor instrumentation.
• Support internal engineering teams with data acquisition setup for vehicle and component testing.
• Plan, organize, and implement test projects in collaboration with global and local stakeholders.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors for commissioning new DAQ systems.
• Develop and improve test methods and automate data reporting processes .
• Train and support engineers and technicians on DAQ tools and test procedures.
• Maintain and update technical documentation and internal work instructions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with data acquisition systems and vehicle testing.
• Solid understanding of vehicle communication protocols : CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Proficient with analog signal types such as voltage, pressure, acceleration, and temperature.
• Experience with metrology and measurement fundamentals .
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DAQ tools : Ipetronik (preferred) , Dewesoft, National Instruments, etc.
• Hands-on with CAN tools : CANalyzer, CANoe, Kvaser Memorator.
• Scripting skills in Python, MATLAB, C#, or C++ .
• Previous experience developing or updating test methods and automation scripts.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative mindset.
