Required Skills & Experience:\n\n-Six (6) months of related experience.\n\n-Ability to work independently.\n\n-Ability to utilize critical thinking skills.\n\n-Ability to utilize excellent communicate with surgeons, physicians, and other health care staff regarding Cardiac Ultrasound results.\n\n-Ability to serve in on\n\n-call rotation after regular business hours.\n\n\n___________________________________\n\n\nRequired Education:\n\n-High School diploma or GED.\n\n\nPreferred Education:\n\n-Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound or Cardiac Ultrasound certification program.\n\n\n___________________________________\n\n\nRequired Certification & Licensure:\n\n-Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).\n\nOR\n\n-Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).\n\n-BLS.
