Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Nurse to join our team. As a key member of the endoscopy unit, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Your flexibility and expertise will contribute to the well-being and recovery of patients in our facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


• Assist with a variety of endoscopic procedures including EBUS, Bronchoscopy, ION, EGD, Colon, EUS, and ERCP.


• Utilize advanced equipment such as Olympus Scopes and Processors, ERBE, and EMR Cerner.


• Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the procedure area.


• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures and follow-up care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of in-hospital Endoscopy experience.


• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.


• Ability to work flexible schedules, including call shifts as needed.


• Preferred: Experience in pulmonary procedures.
