GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Watertown, New York.

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Watertown, NY
Radius Rule: 100 miles
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours: 36-hour guarantee

Requirements:

• Active NY RN license required
• BLS, ACLS required
• PALS required (or obtained within 6 months of hire)
• MEDITECH experience required
• Travel experience required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience (ED experience preferred)
• Critical Care and charge experience preferred

Role Expectations:

• Ability to recognize and intervene in life-threatening situations
• Strong assessment skills: clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
• Must function effectively under stress with strong problem-solving skills
• Leadership ability with prioritization/delegation skills
• May be required to take charge nurse duties
• Must complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and be defibrillation certified within 6 months
• Must be IV, medication, and phlebotomy certified during orientation
• Must recognize safety risks and use proper patient-handling equipment
