Planet Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Wound Care for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.

Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.

WILL ACCEPT WOUND CARE NURSE OR WOCN
3+ Years of specific Hyperbaric experience required. Unit accepts first time travelers, but prefers those with experience

Staffing Ratios: 1:2
Patient Age Group: Neonates-Geriatrics
Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
Certifications Required: BCLS
Certifications Preferred: ACLS
Weekend shifts: as needed
Floating: yes, within skillset

Varied, acute and chronic disease states- following CMS approved diagnoses for hyperbaric oxygen treatment.
Carries out hyperbaric oxygen treatment, clinic has 3 chambers, will assist as safety lead for unit.
Performs operational procedures to facilitate coordinated and efficient delivery of Hyperbaric services.
a. Assists the director with keeping adequate records of al departmental activities, meeting, and projects.
b. Assists with the development of staffing schedule.
c. Effectively manages staffing to meet productivity goals.
d. Implements changes to improve efficiency and safety of the department.
e. Manages finances by tracking/ordering supplies, monitoring charges

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
RTO: MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling is Not Guaranteed

HOLIDAYS:
If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Thanksgiving/Black Friday
Christmas Eve and Day
New Year’s Eve and Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day

FULL COMPLIANCE REQUIRED to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
**GA License or Compact required**
