UH-60 Blackhawk Technician

We are seeking a skilled UH-60 Blackhawk Technician to perform maintenance, repair, modifications, inspections, and servicing of UH-60 helicopters. This role involves troubleshooting engines and systems, using the Federal Supply System, and reading mechanical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities:

• Perform full range of airframe and engine maintenance.
• Conduct repair, modifications, inspections, and servicing of aircraft.
• Troubleshoot engines and systems effectively.
• Use special test equipment and tools.
• Read and interpret mechanical manuals, schematics, and instruments.
• Perform full system checkout on all aircraft systems.
• Conduct mechanic test flight duties.
• Perform complete servicing of aircraft.

Essential Skills:

• Strong UH-60 or H-60 maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 4 years experience on H-60 or UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters or Fixed wing experience on King Air or DHC-3 Otter.
• US Army Experience.
• Ability to obtain Clearance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Army TAMMS, HH-60, SH-60, Helicopter, Blackhawk, Sikorsky.
• Experience in preventive maintenance.
• Tools etched and shadowed.

Work Environment:

The work environment is a climate-controlled hangar with a dress code of T-shirt, work pants, and steel-toe boots. The position operates on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. It begins as a 6-month contract with the potential for permanent hire.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakehurst, NJ.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
