About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Medical Affairs to join its senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be a physician leader with a strong focus on quality, driving clinical excellence, and care delivery within a connected physician community. This role is pivotal in planning and structuring medical staff services to align with the organization's and community's needs, creating a platform for care consistency, and establishing a strategic direction. The VP, Medical Affairs will also be responsible for fostering constructive communication channels between medical staff and administration and must be adept at working in a collaborative, team-based leadership environment. Ideal candidates for the Vice President, Medical Affairs position at the company will have a background as a seasoned physician leader, ideally with experience at the level of CMO or ACMO, and a minimum of 10 years of service in clinical practice before transitioning to administrative roles. The role requires a leader with the highest level of integrity, deep knowledge of clinical practice and the business of healthcare, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of physicians and administrators.
