About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting services are among the most respected in the industry. Our ongoing investment in learning and technology ensures our team can deliver a seamless client experience.

About You:

• 5+ years of relevant private equity tax experience in a high-volume operational environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of private equity structures and partnership accounting, including tax waterfalls.
• Experience with federal and state tax return compliance.
• Experience managing and leading staff.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ownership and accountability for work products.
• Proficient in Excel; knowledge of Investran is a plus.

Salary Range: USD 150,000 - 210,000

Your Role:

• Manage private equity tax deliverables and client relationships, including preparing tax estimates, work papers, and Schedule K-1s.
• Review federal and state tax returns prepared by third parties.
• Manage and train direct reports and coordinate assignments.
• Research federal, state, and international tax issues.
• Coordinate with clients and tax advisors on partnership income tax returns.
• Collaborate with Fund Accounting, Onboarding, Waterfall, and other teams globally.
• Develop and improve processes to grow the private equity business and enhance client offerings.
• Participate in automation, procedure development, and special projects.
• Assist in new business pursuits, including sales pitches and engagement pricing.
