EVR Advertising is a full-service advertising agency located in Manchester, New Hampshire. We are gaining momentum and growing. Our environment is fun and collaborative. We are seeking an experienced contract Video Editor to join our creative team through September 2025 . You will collaborate with our Creative and Accounts Teams to transform raw material into a high-quality final product. You’ll be responsible for creating mood boards and proposed video narratives, producing short-form and long-form content, creating and adding graphics and animations, and adding music and special effects. A successful candidate will need to be able to work under deadlines, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with agency team members.

This position is a hybrid role, working in our offices in Manchester, NH on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

Anticipated contract length: February through September 30, 2025 (About 8 months in total).

Will consider both part-time and full-time applicants.

Responsibilities

A video editor with our company will have multiple responsibilities:

• Edit video content for multiple outlets, including social media, YouTube, and Netflix
• Evaluate raw footage and review shot lists and storyboards
• Use software to enhance video footage
• Audio mixing and color grading
• Implement effective storytelling techniques
• Suggest and implement appropriate special effects and music additions
• Collaborate with video production team members

Job qualifications and skill sets

Our ideal video editor will have the following skills and qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in film studies, production, video editing, visual effects, cinematography, graphic design, or a related field
• Relevant work experience focusing in the post-production process and links to past work or reels in a portfolio
• Proficiency with video editing software, including Adobe Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier, Frame.io, etc.
• An advanced understanding of sound effects and special effects
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Critical thinking and problem-solving talents
• Strong organizational and file management skills
• Address client feedback from multiple stakeholders
• Communication skills that allow the editor to collaborate with other video production team members
• Experience with digital video editing and motion graphics

• EVR maintains a hybrid workplace, with staff working at the Manchester, NH office three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) and from anywhere two days a week (Monday and Friday)
