Role Overview:

The VP of Data Governance provides executive leadership and strategic oversight for enterprise data governance initiatives, ensuring data accuracy, security, compliance, and readiness for AI-enabled technologies. This role champions the governance framework across clinical and operational functions while aligning with regulatory requirements (HIPAA, AI governance standards).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise-wide data governance strategies, including data lifecycle management, classification, quality, retention, and destruction.
• Ensure data is “Copilot-ready” for AI applications, validating content and access controls.
• Oversee remediation and organization of SharePoint and OneDrive content.
• Establish and enforce governance for Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and Copilot Studio.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Enterprise Information Services, and clinical leadership to maintain compliance and protect sensitive data.
• Define and monitor KPIs for data governance effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in enterprise data governance, healthcare data management, or related leadership roles.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (HIPAA, AI governance frameworks).
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
