Description:

The Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for accurate and timely intake and processing of inbound goods and raw materials, along with preparation and staging of outbound shipments to the Dover Distribution Center from the York Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for putting away inbound materials in racking or cold storage using Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment and RF device

2. Responsible for picking labels and packaging for production (physical movement and Warehouse Management System -WMS)

3. Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external customers

4. Make all systematic entries associated with physical transactions of goods in WMS in an accurate and timely manner

5. Deliver pallets of RMs to Kitchen Mezzanine and remove pallets from same, as requested

6. Make put-aways (using PIT) physically in accordance with rules around Food Safety, Personnel Safety, and GMPs

7. Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) as needed and appropriate, following established safety procedures

8. Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout shift and at the end of the shift

9. Report any conditions that need attention to appropriate department (e.g., Operations, Distribution, Maintenance, Human Resources)

Additional Responsibilities

  1. Follow all company polices and procedures for safety, including food safety, quality, and sanitation with regard to personnel, maintenance, and equipment
  2. Cross-train to support other Warehouse Staff as needed
  3. Assist with inventory spot checks and other inventory-related activities as needed
  4. May be required to work in excess of 40 hrs per week periodically as business needs require
  5. Perform other job duties as required or assigned

Requirements:

1. High school education or equivalent

2. Proficient in MS applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and demonstrate a willingness to learn new systems

3. Must be capable to regularly and effectively use PIT to perform job duties at pace with training

4. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and stand for several hours at a time

5. Strong attention to detail, especially material storage rules
