Job Description

Work for a Somerset County, NJ, area manufacturer of retail equipment on a 4-week temporary assignment.

Warehouse Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Receive UPS, FED EX and other packages and deliver to appropriate departments and/or individuals inside the building
* Sweep, clean and organize department
* Prepare products for shipping and receiving
* Prepare cartons for delivery, palletize and wrap.
* Check item numbers, carton counts, skid counts and labels
* Load trucks with finished and unfinished materials per loading patterns and BOL
* Be aware of urgent jobs and handle accordingly.
* Receive import and domestic shipments into system (Lisa WMS)
* Checks PO"s manifest against paper deliveries to ensure accuracy and enter into system.
* Advise Manager/Supervisor of any differences, damages, or late deliveries.
* Maintain and understand ISO procedures.
* Evaluate, troubleshoot and perform work assigned to the Project Department ensuring accurate and timely completion.
* Keep Project Department space in an orderly fashion
* Assist Project Manager with collaborative communication within, but not limited to, Customer Service, Sales and Quality Assurance
* Participates in ongoing education to update job knowledge.
* Other duties as needed.

* Good computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Skills must include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as SAP Software.
* Knowledge of shipping manifest and bill of lading.
* Some weekend and daily overtime may be required.
* Must be OSHA certified to operate warehouse equipment, floor jacks, forklift.

EXPERIENCE:
* High School Diploma required. Associates degree or Technical School degree preferred. Candidates who do not possess the required education may substitute additional related experience on a year-for-year basis.
