Golden Gate Home Inspections is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented WDO/Pest Inspector to join our team. As one of the leading home inspection companies in the area, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional and thorough inspections for our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct WDO (Wood Destroying Organisms) and pest inspections in residential properties according to state regulations and company standards
- Use advanced technology such as infrared imaging and moisture meters to detect and identify potential issues in homes
- Provide detailed and accurate reports to clients with findings, recommendations, and relevant photographs
- Communicate effectively with clients, real estate agents, and other members of the team
- Attend regular trainings and stay up-to-date with current industry developments and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the highest level of customer service and efficiency in scheduling and completing inspections
- Represent Golden Gate Home Inspections professionally and promote our values of integrity, accuracy, and excellence in service delivery
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid state license as a WDO/Pest Inspector or be willing to obtain one within the first 3 months of employment
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in relevant fields preferred
- Previous experience in WDO/pest inspections or a related field is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of residential construction and building codes is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules and environments
- Comfortable using technology and software for report writing and communication
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time, on-site position with flexible scheduling. Inspections are typically conducted during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, with some occasional evening and weekend work. The candidate must be comfortable with working in various weather conditions and crawling in tight spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
