Reveal Design Group is an award winning lighting design firm specializing in boutique hospitality, restaurant, retail, sports facility, & high end residential projects seeking a full time Assistant Lighting Purchasing Project Manager. We are seeking talented applicants to assist our Lighting Project Managers in supporting our design team with budgeting, fixture purchasing, construction administration, technical fixture research, mock-up tests of lighting details, site coordination with contractors, and general project support. This is an opportunity for a candidate who is interested in gaining new knowledge every day and contributing to distinguished architectural projects. Applicants from other fields are very successful in the role, particularly Theatrical Stage Managers, Technical Directors, and Assistant Lighting Designers; Millwork shop estimators, and anyone who is able to pick up technical knowledge quickly.
Skills:
• Experience with Bluebeam, Adobe InDesign, and Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of architectural lighting fixtures, electrical installation and sales
• Experience with Reading and interpreting Architectural and Electrical drawings is a plus
• Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
• Must have excellent organizational skills
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with databases; we use Oasis sales software
• Experience with Lighting Controls (Theatrical or Architectural) preferred
• Degree in Architectural Lighting, Theatrical Design or Construction Management preferred
