We're hiring an experienced barista at Haraz!
As a Haraz Barista, you will prepare a variety of drinks, including coffee, teas, smoothies, and more, while providing excellent customer service. We take pride in our service and value baristas who genuinely care for our customers. There are also opportunities for growth within the company based on performance.
### Barista Position Requirements
1. *Experience*: Previous barista or coffee shop experience.
2. *Skills*: Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
3. *Customer Service*: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. *Work Ethic*: Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. *Teamwork*: Collaborative attitude and positive demeanor.
6. *Sanitation*: Understanding of food safety practices.
7. *Flexibility*: Availability for flexible hours, including weekends.
8. *Passion*: Enthusiasm for coffee culture.
### Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly.
- Educate customers on our menu.
- Upsell special items.
- Handle cashier duties via the Toast system.
- Prepare food for in-house and to-go orders.
- Fulfill DoorDash/Uber Eats orders.
- Complete daily opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain a clean workspace and restock inventory.
- Foster a positive work environment.
### Expectations:
- Ensure brewing equipment operates properly.
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate any issues to management.
- Arrive on time for all shifts.
### Work Attire:
- Present a professional appearance, no ripped jeans or graphic tees.
