About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff and Mission Integration Officer to join their executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and advancing the work of the Office of the President, overseeing the generative governance of the Boards of Trustees, and advancing institutional mission integration efforts. This role involves serving as a trusted thought partner and advisor to the president, managing government relations, and providing oversight of the legal portfolio. The Chief of Staff and Mission Integration Officer will also be tasked with fostering understanding and integration of the company's mission traditions, ensuring adherence to mission-based expectations, and supporting the president in leading an effective administrative team. Applicants must have a Master's degree (terminal degree preferred) and significant executive-level leadership experience, preferably in higher education. A deep understanding of higher education governance, mission traditions, and organizational development is essential. The role requires advanced skills in delegation, project management, and prioritization, as well as proficiency in data analysis and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, critical thinking, and financial literacy skills, and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to engage diverse constituencies. A dedication to fostering an inclusive, mission-driven community and a proven track record of leading strategically and driving change through innovation are also key qualifications for this position.
