I am partnered with a family office Principal and CEO of a $100M division of a publicly traded professional services company. This role will dual-support the Principal’s to-be-established family office and their professional services firm with clients across the global banking and financial services industry. They are currently looking for a Chief of Staff to be the right-hand person the CEO.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Principal
• Handle all aspects private staffing
• Program Management of key family office or corporate workstreams, including managing certain client projects/programs
• Work with CEO on strategy of household and business
• Handle all aspects of operations from scheduling to travel
• Build family office from scratch. Everything from sourcing real estate to working with architects and designers, hiring operations and finance staff, liasing with GPs and investment managers.
• Manage Personal Assistant as well as other household staff.
• Open to traveling a minimum of 40% of the time.
• Willing to “get their hands dirty” and operate as EA/PA when required, travel last minute, and have availability on nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 8 - 12 years’ experience as a Chief of Staff
• Based in or willing to relocate to New York
• Must have previously worked at a startup, technology company, or fast-paced financial services firm.
• Extremely organized with high attention to detail
• Great with multi-tasking
• Understanding the latest technology and organizational trends/methodologies
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Loves a fast-paced environment
