About the Role:
As a Tax Senior, your role will primarily focus on preparing and filing a variety of Federal and State tax returns, from basic to advanced levels, ensuring they are completed on time and to the highest standards. You'll maintain regular communication with internal supervisors, managers, and principals to ensure smooth workflows, quality assurance, and organized processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of individual and business taxation, and be eager to work collaboratively with the team throughout all stages of client engagements.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file Federal and State tax returns for individuals and businesses of varying complexity
- Maintain open communication with team members to ensure effective collaboration and timely delivery of services
- Assist in all phases of client engagements, including tax planning and compliance
- Provide excellent client service, ensuring a positive and professional experience
- Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant tax experience within a public accounting firm
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Master's degree is a plus)
- CPA license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork
