Our office is brand new and patients love us! Responsibilities include assisting our dental staff with examinations and procedures, obtaining dental records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring our patients leave our practice with a smile. Work hours: • Monday 9am-6pm • Tuesday 10am-7pm • Wednesday 9am-6pm • Thursday 9am-3pm (alternate open with Saturday each week) • Friday 9am-6pm • Saturday 8am-3pm (alternate open with Thursday each week) Responsibilities: • Walk patients through a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile • Make sure each patient has the most up-to-date and accurate dental records by recording their information after every visit • Work with dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by assisting with dental instruments and assure the patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist • Provide postoperative instructions to patients so they are informed about how to care for their teeth and gums after procedures to prevent infection • Get the patient area ready for any examinations or procedures by preparing equipment like x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials and sanitizing and laying out dental instruments Qualifications: • Ability to provide superb patient care and customer service • Candidates must have graduated from an accredited dental assistance program with an associate’s degree • Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills • Basic data entry and computer skills • Minimum 2 years dental experience. • Former work reference will be contacted. • able to work over time • have a reliable transportation Compensation: $20 - $24 hourly
