Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Employment Litigation Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment litigation, specifically in the areas of covenants and trade secrets. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, handling a wide range of complex employment litigation matters. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing cases, drafting and arguing motions, responding to discovery, and working closely with clients and other members of the team.
Responsibilities:
As an Employment Litigation Associate, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
1. Handling a wide range of complex employment litigation matters, with a focus on restrictive covenants and trade secrets law.
2. Drafting and responding to discovery and managing ESI discovery processes.
3. Drafting and arguing motions in state and federal courts.
4. Taking and defending depositions in a variety of employment disputes.
5. Representing clients in labor and employment disputes, including matters related to employment discrimination statutes and class actions.
6. Working closely with clients to provide strategic and practical legal advice on a range of employment issues.
7. Collaborating with other team members to ensure the highest quality of legal services.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role, you should possess the following:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Arizona Bar is required.
3. Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience as a litigation associate, with a strong focus on employment law.
4. Proven experience with ESI discovery and drafting and arguing motions.
5. Extensive experience in employment/restrictive covenants and trade secrets law.
6. Demonstrated experience in taking and defending depositions.
7. Familiarity with employment discrimination statutes and class actions.
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
11. Commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
