An innovative event production company in Tempe, AZ is searching for a proactive and experienced Production Manager to bring their expertise to life in the field, ensuring that every detail aligns with the clients vision and is delivered flawlessly on time! This role is tailor-made for a resourceful professional with at least 3 years of experience in a field production manager role within the event industry. Production Manager Requirements 3-5+ years of experience in a field production manager role within the event industry Proven experience overseeing and managing freelance production teams Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and direct a team effectively Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and team members Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects with evolving priorities Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, particularly when dealing with last-minute client changes Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel regularly for events Bachelors degree is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered Production Manager Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the production process in the field, ensuring that all aspects of the event meet client expectations Work closely with Project Managers to understand program details and ensure seamless execution Coordinate with sales teams during production meetings to align on event expectations and requirements Ensure that all gear, including audio and scenic equipment, is properly organized and loaded for transport Plan and manage in-house and freelance teams on-site to ensure smooth event operations Travel to and manage on-site operations for all events, both locally and across the U.S., approximately one week per month Production Manager Benefits: Competitive salary + bonus potential 100% medical coverage for employee Company provided dental and life insurance policy 401(k) Plan 2 weeks PTO, 5 sick days, and paid holidays Travel expenses covered by the company This role offers potential growth into sales or other operational roles, allowing you to broaden your skills and advance your career within the company as it continues to expand.
