Kitchen Tune-Up is Hiring: Cabinet Painter (1099 Subcontractor)
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Painter to join our team and work on kitchen cabinet painting projects, including prepping, priming, and finishing cabinet face frames, doors, and drawer fronts. With over 100 remodels completed annually, were looking for a reliable contractor to help us grow our project count while delivering high-quality results.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Arrive at the job site on time, dressed appropriately for the work environment.
• Prep cabinets by cleaning, lightly sanding, and applying primer to ensure proper adhesion.
• Paint cabinet frames, moldings, doors, and drawer fronts with brush/roll or spray techniques.
• Install painted doors and drawers after completing the finish.
• Follow detailed project plans provided by the project manager.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly; complete daily cleanup.
• Communicate progress with the project manager daily, including providing photos of work.
• Work efficiently to deliver a flawless, professional finish.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Expertise in cabinet painting, including brush/roll and spray application.
• Ability to professionally interact with customers and team members.
• Pride in delivering top-quality work on the first attempt.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience in cabinet painting and spraying cabinet doors/drawers.
• Must provide proof of valid business insurance.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Completion of a 1099 agreement before starting work.
• Own a vehicle capable of transporting tools and materials to job sites.
• Must be able to work in Louisville and surrounding communities.

Project-Based Pay: Compensation will be based on the size of the project and your experience level. Specific pay rates will be discussed during the hiring process.
