We are seeking a passionate (Junior) Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support data-driven projects by providing data analysis, assisting with report automation, and participating in the optimization of data systems, thereby supporting strategic decision-making across various departments.

This role will contribute to enhancing organizational efficiency through cross-functional collaboration and data handling.

Your Challenges:

Data Operations & Analysis:

• • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data workflows, utilizing tools like Python, R, or Power Automate to improve efficiency.
  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards, applying DAX for data analysis to provide clear insights for cross-functional teams.
  • Support data management for the Purchase, Sales, Inventory (PSI) system, assisting in enhancing real-time tracking and decision-making capabilities for the Spanish market.
  • Participate in Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis and market analysis, providing data support for the Spanish business to optimize financial performance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing solutions to automate reporting processes, reducing manual effort.

Forecasting & Strategic Insights:

• • Integrate market strategy information, retail-related data, and sales forecasts to assist in the analysis of promotion plans, providing data input for business decisions in the Spanish market.
  • Prepare daily sales reports and participate in the creation of weekly sales analysis and market reports, identifying key trends, brand performance, and pricing information to support strategic planning.

Collaboration & Communication:

• • Collaborate closely with retail, sales, and finance teams in Spain to understand data needs and provide corresponding data support.
  • Clearly explain data findings and basic technical concepts to stakeholders from various backgrounds.

Your profile includes:

Background:

• Background in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related fields, with programming and quantitative analysis capabilities.
• Recent graduates (with at least 6-12 months of relevant internship experience) or candidates with 1+ years of experience as a Junior Data Analyst are welcome to apply.
• Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development using Excel and Power BI.

Portfolio (Highly Recommended):

• A portfolio demonstrating relevant projects (e.g., GitHub profile, Power BI dashboard examples) is a strong plus.

Technical Skills:

• Core Skills:
  • Proficient in Python and R, with the ability to independently perform data cleaning, processing, and analysis.
  • Proficient in Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation, with an understanding of DAX application.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query (data cleaning), Power Pivot (data modeling), and Cube Functions (data retrieval).
  • Understanding of the basic concepts of Microsoft Power Platform (especially Power Automate).
• Preferred Skills :
  • Experience using Python or R for data integration and workflow automation is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of data system optimization and real-time tracking frameworks.

Communication & Collaboration Skills:

• Possess a strong team spirit and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting data findings clearly.

Language Proficiency:

• Mandarin Chinese: Fluent (near-native proficiency).
• Spanish: Business proficiency.
• English: Business proficiency.
