Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Landscape technician to join our team. As a Landscape technician you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for our clients.

General Accountabilities

• Assist the Landscape Supervisor in various landscaping projects, inlcuding planting, pruning, and mulching.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
• Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Perform general landscape maintenance tasks, such as weeding. edging, and raking.
• Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Support the team in ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Maintain lawns, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, and other grounds features.
• Cares for lawns by laying mulch, removing weeds, and trimming trees and plants.
• Maintains flower beds by pruning, weeding and watering as needed.
• Prunes and trims trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws.
• Mixes and sprays or spreads fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees.
• Maintains the ground equipment which may include repairs and preventive maintenance as needed.
• Reports any maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions or repairs to supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements:

- Prior experience in landscaping or a related field is preferred.

- Knowledge of basic landscaping techniques and practices.

- Familiarity with operating landscaping equipment and tools.

- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
