*Your Role as an Optometrist:*
* Conduct comprehensive eye exams and diagnose/treat ocular conditions like glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, etc.
* Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, low vision aids, and therapeutic treatments.
* Advise patients on surgical and non-surgical options based on lifestyle and occupational needs.
* Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure excellent patient experiences.
* Transition patients seamlessly to optical, working closely with opticians on eyewear solutions.
* Participate in pre- and post-operative care when necessary.
* Meet sales goals through informed and consultative recommendations.
*What We’re Looking For:*
* Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school
* Active (or eligible) license to practice optometry in [Insert State]
* A warm, patient-focused approach and strong interpersonal skills
* Business awareness and comfort in a collaborative, team-based setting
*Compensation & Benefits:*
