The Product Manager at Quill is responsible for developing and maintaining a product vision and roadmap for web analytics, collaborating with various teams to deliver analytics products and features. The role requires oversight of web analytics tools, data collection, and analysis for user behavior and website performance while ensuring product alignment with business objectives. The position demands strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to communicate complex analytics concepts to diverse stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap for web analytics based on organizational needs and business goals. 
  • Identify opportunities for new features, enhancements, and integrations that align with business objectives. 

     
  • Collaborate with teams such as Engineering, Marketing, and eCommerce to develop and deliver web analytics products and features. 

     
  • Ensure proper tagging of eCommerce features for data collection and analysis, and manage tagging engineers. 

     
  • Oversee the setup, configuration, and monitoring of web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics. 

     
  • Utilize web analytics tools to collect and analyze data related to user behaviors, traffic acquisition, website performance, and conversion metrics. 

     
  • Present product plans, roadmaps, and performance metrics to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency. 

     
  • Support product adoption by creating training materials, conducting training sessions, and providing guidance to internal teams and customers. 

     
  • Continuously evaluate and iterate on web analytics products and features based on user feedback, market dynamics, and evolving business needs. 

     
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and practices in web analytics products and the broader digital marketing landscape.

  • Proven project management skills for handling complex projects with multiple stakeholders. 
  • Knowledge of data collection best practices, data quality standards, and data governance principles. 

 

 

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications: 

 

  • Technical degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Product Management or equivalent required 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting highly quantitative analytics 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced SQL with a strong understanding of data warehouse architecture 
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience designing analytical solutions 
  • 5 + years of experience of working in web tools such as google or adobe analytics. 
  • 3+ years of experience of working in a product management capacity or similar function, engaging with engineers and data professional 
  • 2+ years of experience in managing teams 

 

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications: 

 

  • Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience 
  • Certified in Adobe Analytics & Google Analytics 
  • Familiarity with AB testing processes and methodologies
