Responsibilities

• Champion Packaging & Distribution Inc is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Lead to oversee laboratory operations and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• This key position is responsible for supervising lab technicians and line auditors, developing direct reports, and managing lab and line coverage
• The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional departments to maintain regulatory, customer, and company requirements
• Supervise and provide leadership to lab techs and line auditors">
• Develop direct reports and manage their performance">
• Manage lab and line coverage, including willingness to work off shifts if needed">
• Work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure compliance to regulatory, customer, and company requirements">
• Review daily production schedule and adjust the quality department's schedule to ensure testing and reporting are met">
• Maintain proper lab supply inventory levels">
• Review testing data/investigate out of spec results and escalate out of spec data">
• Assist in customer complaint investigations">
• Oversee quality programs and assist with implementation">
• Review and maintain COAs for incoming truck deliveries">
• Assist with continuous improvement projects">
• Assist in hiring and training employees">
• Evaluate team members' adherence to GMPs and GDPs">
