Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with Cobol- financial services to join our Charlotte, NC (onsite 3 days a week is a must in Hybris) long-term contract.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Manage and prioritize application development tasks.
- Design and develop software applications using Cobol Mainframe.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define application specifications.
Must To Have Skills : Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java, SQL.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Experience in designing and developing applications using Cobol Mainframe.
- Knowledge of database concepts and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex application issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe
