Contract ServiceNow Developer

The rapidly evolving landscape of IT service management demands specialized skills and comprehensive knowledge, especially when it comes to managing hardware and software assets. We are looking for a Contract ServiceNow developer that is well-versed in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the streamlined operation and optimization of IT assets. They will be focused on the implementation of the HAM/SAM modules for our asset management process.

The role of a ServiceNow developer with specialized knowledge in HAM and SAM is critical to the successful management of IT assets within an organization. By adhering to the outlined contract requirements, organizations can ensure that they attract and retain highly skilled professionals capable of delivering exceptional results. This, in turn, will lead to improved operational efficiency, cost savings, and enhanced compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

ServiceNow Development

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions that meet business requirements.
• Create and maintain custom applications, modules, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
• Develop and manage dashboards, reports, and performance analytics within ServiceNow.

HAM and SAM Management

• Implement and configure HAM and SAM modules to track and manage hardware and software assets.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the HAM and SAM modules.
• Develop processes and workflows for asset tracking, auditing, and compliance.

Collaboration and Support

• Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Train and mentor junior developers and administrators on ServiceNow best practices.

Key Deliverables

• Comprehensive documentation of all implemented solutions, configurations, and customizations.
• Regular status reports and updates to project stakeholders.
• Performance metrics and analytics demonstrating the effectiveness of the HAM and SAM modules.

Technical/Candidate Profile:

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in ServiceNow, HAM, and SAM are highly desirable.

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
• Proven track record in implementing and managing ServiceNow HAM and SAM modules.
• Experience in IT service management and IT operations.

Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - HAM
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - SAM
• ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation Certification

Technical Skills

ServiceNow Platform

• Expertise in ServiceNow development, including scripting, workflows, and integrations.
• Proficient in configuring and customizing ServiceNow HAM and SAM modules.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow data models and relationships.

Programming Languages

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs for integrations.

Database Management

• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and manage database structures.
