Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoot and debug issues with a focus on resolving problems quickly with minimal impact on customers and developers.
2. Build tools to improve developer productivity and contribute ideas to continuously improve Vivint Technology.
3. Manage processes, systems and infrastructure, leveraging best practices and security.
4. Monitor and manage Services reliability, availability, and performance.
5. Support and troubleshoot Linux and Windows Virtual Machines and Containers.
6. Build software and systems to manage Vivint infrastructure and applications.
7. Improve reliability, quality, and uptime of Vivint software and infrastructure solutions.
8. Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve.

Required Skills/Experience:

1. Expertise with code management and deployment processes (CI/CD), procedures, and tools, preferably with Jenkins.
2. Development experience at an SR level, including .Net
3. Familiar with source management tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
4. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
5. A pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
6. Strong teamwork and collaborative skills.
7. Flexibility in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
