Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Barista to join our team, part-time, and to contribute to our outstanding cafe experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent coffee and exceptional customer service. Your passion for coffee, exceptional customer service skills, and attention to detail will be instrumental in delivering the perfect cup of coffee and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile.

Key Responsibilities:

• Crafting Exceptional Coffee: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, from classic espresso shots to intricate latte art, ensuring every cup meets our high-quality standards.
• Customer Engagement: Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, take orders, and provide detailed information about our coffee offerings. Engage in conversations to understand customer preferences and offer personalized recommendations.
• Efficiency: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhere to brewing and serving protocols, and ensure that all orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
• Quality Assurance: Consistently monitor the quality of coffee beans, ensure proper equipment maintenance, and report any issues promptly to maintain the integrity of our coffee offerings.
• Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest coffee trends, brewing techniques, and our product offerings. Share this knowledge with customers and colleagues to enhance their coffee experience.
• Customer Satisfaction: Address customer concerns and inquiries with professionalism and empathy, striving to resolve issues and create a positive experience for all patrons.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a smooth workflow, assist with cleaning and restocking, and support your team in delivering exceptional service during busy periods.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience working with specialty coffee as a Barista in a high-volume coffee shop or café.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, equipment, and techniques.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Availability to work afternoon shifts, Sunday through Friday
